Bridal Shower!

So my twin cousin, Jessica, is happily engaged and getting married on January 8th! This weekend we drove up to Henefer for her Bridal Shower, which was quite delightful. She got a lot of great gifts, including a KitchenAid!!! Lucky girl. (Yes I know that I have one, but I had to pay for mine.) Anyway, she is all moved into their apartment and now just has to wait for Isaac to move in :)
After the shower we went over to visit baby Traxton who is almost a month old! I can honestly say that he is the cutest, most perfect baby boy EVER!!!! (I get to tend him at the wedding and am SO excited!) I couldn't believe how long it had been since I held a baby, I was kind of nervous. Candi and Duncan definitely know how to make a cute baby!

All I Want For Christmas...

Happy December Everyone!!! The most wonderful time of the year is here and Christmas is just around the corner! I seriously love this time of year and wish it could be like this always :) All of our Christmas decorations are finally up and we have broken out the endless supply of sparkling cider and pistachios! A tradition we have always had. So I have finally put together my Christmas Wish List, and thought I would share it with you all. It's pretty sweet and simple...

{I really want some cast iron cookware. I cook a pretty dang nice meal everyday and would definitely use the life outta this thing}

{New mixing bowls would be pretty sweet. Back when we were getting married I registered for some cheap-o ones... You get what you pay for sadly}

{A melon baller would be pretty sweet too. I am getting pretty tired of unevenly sized cookies and meatballs!}

{Roxy has stolen my heart when it comes to footwear. I MUST have these shoes!!!!! They are the most comfy things to tickle my toes. PLUS they are grey AND houndstooth. Enough said! }

{I must also have these boots. Also by Roxy }

{I would really LOVE a gift card to Heather Bailey's online store pretty please. She has some stinkin' CUTE fabrics that I MUST HAVE!}

{And if you are feeling generous I have always wanted a Juicy Couture bag. Haha... I would love you forever :)}

So there you have it. My loverly wish list at it's finest. I know I won't get everything, but it's fun to wish *sigh*. I should have Steve's list up shortly. He is pretty chill about the wish list thing.

Happy Thanksgiving...

This year's Thanksgiving was not what I had hoped for... Steve and I both were sick and a million more things went wrong. BUT it all worked out in the end. Since Thanksgiving is about giving 'thanks' I thought I would share some of the things I am thankful for (and in no particular order):

-My job. I may not love it as much as I used to, but it brings home the dough and you can't complain about that.
-Steve. He is my best friend and I love him more than anything.
-My Family (both of them). They are always there for me and so supportive.
-Missy J. She is my bestie and the most caring, honest friend you could ask for.
-TV. Without it, I would die :)
-Mini. My van may be falling apart, but I am so blessed to have her thanks to my amazing Aunt and Uncle.
-Music. I need to be surrounded by it constantly. It calms me and makes everything more enjoyable.

So there you have it. My top picks. It's not much, but they are so important to me.
With it being Thanksgiving, tradition is to set up the Christmas tree and decorations! It took me basically all day since I was so exhausted. I decided to do something new this year... NO childhood/vacation/yearly ornaments! I LOVE them dearly, but I wanted a little change. I found these really cute ornaments at the Dollar Store (as seen in a few posts below) and was inspired to do a FUNKY tree. We switched from colored lights to white LED's! (They are awesome) So, this year's tree is silver, lime green, aqua, fuchsia, and purple!!!! This is not your Grandma's Christmas tree. (P.S. My Grandma's tree is the bomb. She has an amazing passion for Christmas.) We've got disco balls, jewels, and fish scales :) I love it and can't wait to put our presents underneath it! (P.S.S. Our wrapping paper matches our tree. Steve chose it out not realizing it.)

My Birthday Weekend!

As many of you know, I turned the BIG 23 on Saturday! My weekend was jam packed with activities and so much fun!!! On Friday night, Justine and I went to get some much needed massages that were so amazing! I got a deep tissue which was so nice, and has left me with bruises all over my body. After our massages we went over to Jordan Commons for our FREE screening of New Moon!!!!! One of our vendors bought out the theatre and we were fortunate enough to be invited! They gave us treats and had a raffle... which Justine won. Lucky! Anyway, the movie was really good and I am all for Team Jacob! Mmmmmm :) After the movie I headed home and Steve presented me with an early Birthday gift... Band Hero! I LOVE it! We played ended up playing like all night, and didn't wake up until Noon on Saturday :) Steve and the ferrets woke me up and watched me unwrap my gifts, which were some super cute gloves, a movie, and a shopping spree! Yay! We spent the day relaxing and then went out to dinner with the Goates to the new Olive Garden at The District. I had so much fun and thank everyone for spending my special day with me!

Obsessed

Dear Dollar Tree,
I came to you just the other day for a simple box of Hot Tamales. Little did I know that you would be the one to decorate my Christmas tree this year. As I came in the store and glanced to my left, I was sucked into a sea of lime green and aqua wonderfulness. I never thought you could be one to produce such freaking amazing Christmas ornaments. I mean, this stuff is up there with Target and to my joy only $1 an item. Needless to say, I was in Heaven. $27 later I am the happiest person ever. AND I will be back for more :) Thanks for making my Christmas tree the HOTTEST thing ever!
Love, Chelsea

Candi's Baby Shower

This past weekend I took the beautiful drive up to Henefer for Candice's Baby Shower! It was so fun to see her and her baby bump, as well as Jessica and her sparkling left hand :) Candice is due any day now! (But I would prefer if baby Traxton came on November 21st. Haha) As per her request, I bought her a Boppy! And apparently it's a must for all babies! (Note to self, need Boppy when prego.) Anyway, It was really fun and I am so excited for her! She is more than a cousin to me and I know that she will be an AMAZING Mommy! Love you Candi girl!

All Hallows' Eve

This year's Halloween was a bit more relaxed, but still really fun! I am sad to say that our ferret's were not the Chipmunks this year. I was so busy with flower orders and visiting friends that I just simply didn't have time. BUT I did manage to make some quick last minute costumes. Knuckles and Kirby were both Bats, and Yoshi was a Ghost. They turned out so cute!!!! Steve was a Nerd and a pretty cute one :) I finally got to wear my Dark Fairy costume, and I loved it! My makeup, eyelashes and tights made me so happy!! The day wasn't even over and I already knew what I was going to be next year, haha.
So, our evening was pretty chill... I took dinner to my parents and got a picture with Brandon in his costume. The silly boy LEFT his costume at school!!!!! He had to pull out last years and ended up being a Medieval Knight, again. Afterwards Steve and I headed over to the Goates. Teresa and Jon had themed costumes and they were pretty cute. T was The Cat in the Hat and J was the boy Conrad! Mom and Dad Goates put on their scary face masks while we chatted with Rick and Aubery on Skype, but Aubrey wasn't really scared of them. (Lame!) Jenell themed the kids costumes this year and they were the Princess and the Frog! How cute! After chatting with Rick for a while we put in our SCARY movie! This year we watched The Haunting in Connecticut, which none of us had ever seen. It was so FREAKY!!! I haven't screamed out loud in a long time! (Poor throat was sore afterwards.) Thanks Mom and Dad Goates for hosting a great evening!
I hope that you all had a Happy Halloween!

{This is the best picture I could get of our little Bat... He didn't want to hold still}

This Is It!

I just bought my tickets to see Michael Jackson's, This Is It!!!! I am so darn excited! Sure MJ was kinda weird and creepy, BUT his music and choreography changed things forever and I LOVE ALL OF IT!!! It will be a loverly night out with Sissy-Poo :)
